reeeeeally, stephanie meyer? when all we actually want is midnight sun to be finished, you give us bree’s story. ugh.
so who the hell was bree when she was at home? I can’t remember her.
(and can’t be bothered digging out my copy to look).
Stephenie Meyer you are painfully annoying. You may need to be staked.
i thiiiink. if i remember correctly, she was one of the baby vampires that victoria creates in eclipse? that is then killed by the volturi when they arrive late to the ‘showdown’? she was very uninteresting.
i like to shout ‘off with her heeeeeeeeead’ at things that annoy me. maybe that is a little harsh for stephanie meyer. but whatevs. off with her heeeeeeeeeeeead.
in the middle of the night i may watch you go they’ll be no value in the strentgh of walls that i have grown they’ll be no comfort in the shade of the shadows thrown but i’ll be yours if you’ll be mine
stretch out my life, pick the seams out take what you like, but close my ears and eyes watch me crumble over and over
i have done wrong so build your tower call me home and i will build a throne and wash my eyes out never again
but love the one you hold and i’ll be your goal to have and to hold lover of the light
it’s getting to tight and eyes like marbles you spin me high so watch me as i glide before i tumble homeward homeward
i know i’ve tried, i was not stable floored by pride, i miss my sanguine eyes so hold my hands up breathe in, breathe out
love the one you hold and i’ll be your goal to have and to hold lover of the light
and in the middle of the night i may watch you go they’ll be no value in the strength of walls that i have grown they’ll be no comfort in the shade of the shadows thrown you may not trust the promises of the change i’ll show
Pomegranate Place nourishes, enlivens, empowers and advocates for women – women who are looking for more meaningful lives, new ways to express themselves in the world, and a sense of belonging through shared experience. We envision both a physical gathering place, rich in generosity and acceptance, and a universal conversation, abundant in possibility. This is a place where compassion, justice, freedom and transcendence are foundational values rather than intangible afterthoughts – where independence is a practice, living authentically a mantra, and shared wisdom the feast!

Editors: 5 editors are needed to proof, edit, and post 3-6 pieces a month. Please submit two pieces you have edited.
Photographers: 5-10 photographers are needed to create a portfoloio of original photography for Pomegranate Place; using both new and previously taken photographs that can be used to compliment the blog entries. A list of monthly themes will be provided as inspiration. Please submit three examples of your work.
“They intend to vote on the Sabbath, during Lent, to take away the liberty that we have right from God.”—
Steve King, last Thursday on Glen Beck’s radio show. Beck added:
Faith has been perverted. They are going to vote for this damn thing on a Sunday, which is the Sabbath, during Lent. Here is a group of people that have so perverted our faith and our hope and our charity, that is a — this is an affront to God.
i just got back from seeing alice. marvellous :) i don’t see any need to review it. it is everything one should expect from a tim burton extravaganza. with the beautiful lewis caroll madness and sanity thrown in. i could have perhaps done without the futterwacking. but otherwise brilliant.
Saturday afternoon Sarah said to me, “have you see gaga’s new video?” "No!" I replied, as I searched Youtube and found the thing, then at over 6 million hits in two days alone. As I sat back and watched this 9 and a half minute mini-film there was just one over-riding thought running through my head?
Am I just not clever enough?
I have since watched this video/short film 5+ times, and still my question remains. Am I just not clever enough? Here is where I unpack why in fact I don’t think it has anything to do with intelligence, and everything to do with confusion.
It’s annoying when friends make friends with your friends and then email their friends. The latter two sets don’t care for it anyways. I’m just saying… stalking tendencies bother me. It’s You’re not cool.
“But the most sublime aspect of this presentation is the digital blurring. The image is a huge tease that ultimately tells us nothing. There could be a vag there, sure, or there could be the fabled “little bit of a penis”, or she could be smooth and slit-free as a Barbie doll. Gaga’s crotch shot says: is this what you want, a look around a woman’s body that is literally incarcerated, the freedom to explore her like she’s nothing more than a doll? Well, fuck you. Some information is still not public property. Some privates, it seems, are still private. Too bad.”—Fasionista on Lady GaGa’s blurred out bits.
i have quite a long post about lady gaga’s telephone video in my head. but i am too tired right now. however. it should be known. i am just glad it’s not a song that sticks around, as in, it doesn’t get stuck in my head. let’s give thanks for small mercies.
*in london! *waiting for the frost to arrive. *going to see mumford and sons tonight (be jealous, yes that gig is sold out.) *wondering why on earth i have a headache. *wanting to go stay with lee in her kangaroo ridden farm. *wearing a dress. *sporting shimmery navy blue nails, of which only one hand has been painted with any care. *going to see mumford again in three months, this time in AUSTIN TEXAS. *really rather pleased with myself right now.
